Summer Storms

I love them.

What they do to the colors, especially at dusk, is mesmerizing.

The tree above is a Carolina Sapphire. When we picked it out, the name might have gotten me, if the color hadn't already. And I wish our fence would stay in exactly this stage of not-new.

Below are my zinnias in storm light. I sure talk about my zinnias a lot. I love them too.

And I love to be reminded:

I set My bow in the clouds, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth. And when I bring clouds over the earth, and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living animal of all flesh, and never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow will be in the clouds, and I will look upon it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living animal of all flesh that is upon the earth.

Light-tipped new leaves. And, uh, ... GO BEARS!!!!
